On January 7th, 2025, Jane Naana Opoku-Agyemang was sworn in as Ghana’s first female Vice President.

She will be the first female vice president in Ghana’s history.

Jane Naana Opoku-Agyemang will be the 24th female elected to the Presidency/Vice Presidency in Africa.
