Recently, Twitter allowed users to receive “Tips” or money from other Twitter users through third-party payment platforms.
Currently, you can send tips to Twitter users on iOS using Patreon, Bitcoin, and Chipper Cash in Ghana.
In this guide, we’ll show you how to set up Tips on your Twitter profile if you’re on iOS. Here’s how to get started:
Go To Your Twitter Profile
On your iOS mobile device, go to your Twitter Profile and select the “Edit Profile” button. At the bottom, select the “Tips” section.
In the “Tips” section, select the “Allow Tips” switch.
You’ll be presented with the payment options that you would like to receive tips. Your options include Bitcoin, Chipper Cash, and Patreon. In the example below, we used a Bitcoin address.
Once you enter your payment details (you can use all three options), a “Money” icon will appear near the Edit Profile button.
Now, whenever someone wants to tip you, they just need to select the “Money” icon and they’ll see an option to send you tips.
And that’s it! You’re now ready to receive tips on Twitter on iOS.
(If you want to tip us on Twitter, you’re more than welcome 🙂
