WhatsApp has always allowed users to send different media content to each other. Media file types included pictures, videos and PDFs. Sending documents was limited to just PDFs but thanks to an upgrade, users are allowed to send any file type to each other. The only catch is that files are limited to 100MB.
The new update will also stop compressing photos which will allow for high quality photos when you send to others. Users will also now get the ability to bold, italicize or strikethrough text.
The new update should be rolling out for Android and iOS now.
