Pokémon Go developer Niantic has shown off what they say is its next generation of augmented reality gaming.
In the video below, they show a person wearing their AR headset and interacting with virtual objects, including game elements as well as more practical virtual signage.
Some players appear to be interacting with the game using handheld motion controllers.
The trailer was released at this year’s Qualcomm Snapdragon Summit where several announcments about new processors where made. These include a new processor and software integration between the two company’s AR platforms.
Although this is a demo, this might be where Niantic takes the next version of their AR gaming.
