South Africa Leads Sub-Saharan Africa In Average Broadband Download Speeds

South Africa, Eswatini and Rwanda are the top three countries with best average broadband download speeds

According to data from Cable.co.uk. South Leads all of Sub-Saharan Africa in terms of average broadband download speeds.

South Africans get an average of 42.42 Mbps in download speeds. This is enough to download a 5GB movie in 16 mins.

Eswatini and Rwanda round up the top three with Eswatini averaging 37.23 Mbps and Rwanda averaging 32.69 Mbps.

Sudan had the lowest average download speeds of 4.02 Mpbs.
