Editor’s Note: How Tech Labari Is Evolving In 2025

By Joseph-Albert Kuuire 2 Min Read

As we close out the year 2024, we’ll be outlining what Tech Labari will be working on for 2025.

We’re Shifting To Concise News Stories

In 2025, we’ll be moving away from long-form, in-depth articles on our website. We’ll be reserving longer format stories for special reports or strategic deep dives in our newsletters.

You can still read our featured articles here.

We’ll be primarily focusing on news stories on our website. These stories will be more concise, focusing more on bullet-pointed news updates, making content quicker to read while maintaining depth.

Most of these stories will be AI-generated but will be overseen by the editor.

More Focus on Data Points and Labari Insights

In 2025, we’ll be focusing more on our Data Points articles. We’ll be integrating more data-driven stories and insights into news content, providing readers with valuable, research-backed information.

We’ll also be expanding the role of Labari Insights, focusing on delivering actionable data points for the tech ecosystem in Africa.

Expanding Our Newsletter

As we continue to grow our newsletter, we’ll be sending out two editions: Weekly Round-Up and Deep Dives:

  • Weekly Round-Up: A brief, high-level recap of the week’s most important tech news and insights in Africa.
  • Deep Dives: A more detailed newsletter exploring specific tech trends, sectors, or issues, offering subscribers expert insights and data.
