Have you ever wanted to know when your friends on Instagram are online so you can stalk DM them? Well, Instagram is adding a new feature so you can find out when they’re online.
A green dot will appear next to your friend’s profile pictures that lets you know that they’re online to message.
This new indicator will show up in Instagram Direct inbox and the share menu. But this indicator will only show up for people who already follow you and for people you’ve talked to before in Instagram Direct messages. So unless you’re directly talked to Efya on Instagram before, you’re out of luck of knowing when she’s online on Instagram.
There will be an option to hide your status from others if you want.
