The Ghana Digital Centres Limited (GDCL) has welcomed interested companies to start the submission of applications for tenancy at the Accra Digital Centre.

The Accra Digital Centre is capable of hosting up to 10,000 direct digital and ancillary jobs
Interested parties can go to www.adc.gov.gh/forms or pick up forms from Accra Digital Centre, adjacent State Housing Company, Ring Road West, near the Kwame Nkrumah interchange in Accra to apply for space. The GDCL also stated that completed forms can be submitted via e-mail to David.Ofori@gdcl.gov.gh
About The Accra Digital Centre
The Accra Digital Centre is a Business Process Outsourcing (BPO)/Information Communication Technology (ICT) Centre which was established by the government of Ghana with support from the World Bank and the Rockefeller Foundation.
The Centre consists of twelve unit blocks, each with space of 750 sqm, providing total workspace of 9,000 sqm and six one-storey office buildings with 24 rooms to serve as common service areas. One block is reserved for digital entrepreneurship programme to help nurture technology startups.
The facility has incubator programs which include Angel Network Funding and Business Plan Competitions.
One of the requirements for interested companies in applying for tenancy is that they must demonstrate the ability to pay gross rent of $16 per sq. m for foreign companies and $12 for local companies with a service charge of $4 inclusive. Other requirements could be found on the online form here.
Future Digital Centres
The GDCL has started that there are plans to establish more ICT parks or Digital Centres per region to help promote Job Creation and Economic Development.
