Agilitee Africa, a South Africa-based firm is currently looking to establish itself in Ghana with the construction of an assembly plant for electric vehicles in Ghana. The company is concluding discussions with its Ghanaian partners to lay a solid foundation for the assembly, and, ultimately, the production of electric vehicle solutions including battery swapping stations, solar charging facilities, and other co-friendly products such as solar television sets.
The Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Agilitee Africa, Dr Mandla Lamba, stated that his company settled on Ghana because it believes that the West Africa country was more ready for the green revolution.
“We believe that Ghana is more ready for this green revolution following the efforts of the Ghanaian President to push not only Ghana but the entire continent towards that direction.
Dr Lamba stated that Agilitee Africa was currently at the forefront of the fourth industrial revolution in electric vehicles, artificial intelligence, and more importantly, green technology which was the future.
“We aim to change the continent by driving clean energy solutions and carbon reduction. The Agilitee team is pioneering, researching, importing, assembling, manufacturing, and franchising electric vehicles technology.
