Angola Is In Discussions with Starlink To Introduce Its Internet Service In The Country

According to reports from Bloomberg, representatives from Angola are currently in talks with Elon Musk’s Starlink satellite company about introducing the satellite internet service to the country.

The talks were confirmed by Angola’s Telecommunications and Information Technologies Minister Mario de Oliveira. She stated that discussions she had with Starlink in New York are they are currently at an advanced stage.

Other African country reps have also been in talks with Starlink, including South African President Cyril Ramaphosa. Earlier this month, he disclosed that he also talked with Elon Musk about investing in South Africa and bringing in Starlink.

Starlink also recently launched its services in Burundi.
