Ghanaian startup Appruve, was recently announced of the winner of the 2019 Hague Institute of Innovation of Law (HiiL) Innovating Justice Challenge West Africa regional final in Lagos.
The startup which helps to identify and verify identities across the African continent using its API was selected as winners of the challenge at the Netherlands Embassy in Lagos.
In winning the challenge, Appruve will be attending an intensive Justice Entrepreneurship School and Innovating Justice Forum in Hague, Netherlands as well as be compensated with a grant funding of €20,000 which will be shared amongst the other the top three winners.
Kwame Yeboah, Chief Product Officer of Inclusive Innovations, in his presentation, said they have been able to verify 15,000 identities and onboard 30 service providers who are using Appruve APIs to verify their customers.
