Cloud PC: Google Drive Will Soon Allow You To Back Up Your Entire PC

Google Drive is getting better and better. Aside from monitoring files on selected folders on your computer and backing up your files, Google will soon be able to monitor and backup files inside of any folder you point it to on your computer.

You can practically include your desktop if you want.

The new feature called Backup and Sync, will be available on June 28th in the form of a new app. Google recommends that regular consumers download the new app once it’s out

New Option With Fierce Competition

Backing up your entire PC will definitely take up a lot of space on your free Drive account and I’m sure Google is banking on that and expecting users to pay more for space on their cloud accounts.

Still, its a good move by Google when you consider that competition like Microsoft (OneDrive), Dropbox and Amazon who are also competing for users to use their cloud drive options.
