After stealing coping their “Stories” feature, Instagram has officially made the final transformation into Snapchat by adding in “Face Filters” in their latest update.
Eight different filters will be available starting today. Instagram’s face filters will work with the front or back camera of your phone. You just open the camera interface and tap the new icon in the bottom right corner.
If you use Snapchat, you know that it’s infamous for it face filters feature. It’s especially popular with females using the crown of flowers.
With this latest addition, Instagram has officially transformed into Snapchat. The question is, if you have both Instagram and Snapchat, why would you use Snapchat anymore since Instagram has more features.
Snapchat better come up with something groundbreaking especially considering it took a beating on Wall Street with their earnings report.
Maybe it might be time for Snapchat to push the panic button….
