Digital Arsenal: Tools To Keep Up With The Tech World

By Joseph-Albert Kuuire 5 Min Read

Creating content can be a bit of hard work. Actually, it’s a LOT of hard work. Trying to be original and produce content for your audience can be daunting at times. Finding inspiration to write articles, getting sources and all that can be a bit tricky sometimes. But with the internet age, there’s a lot of resources out there at your disposal which can help make things easier.

So we’re going to outline a couple of tools we use at Tech Nova to help spread content and find inspiration for some of our articles.

Tweetdeck

Using the Twitter web app can be a bit hectic if you follow multiple accounts and try to follow up with all news and tech related stuff. But with Tweetdeck, things are easier. Tweetdeck is somewhat of a dashboard for Twitter.

With Tweetdeck, you get all your tweets, mentions and DMs all in one place. You can even group some of the people you follow into lists. At Tech Nova, we group some of the people and news sites in the tech industry into a “Tech” and “News” list so we can catch up to all what’s going on in the tech space. It’s a great tool and highly recommended for managing your Twitter account. (Tweetdeck for Mac, Tweeten for WindowsAlternative to Tweetdeck)

MailChimp

We’re working on newsletters here at Tech Nova. As we grow and continue to push stories, we’re aware not everyone has the time to visit the website on a daily basis or would rather want just a summary of our content. That’s why we have a newsletter option on the home and bottom of our website.

We use MailChimp to send out newsletter to our subscribers, showing them the latest stories featured on Tech Nova. MailChimp is pretty easy to use once you get the hang of it.

We hope to grow more subscribers as we go along. If you want to keep up with Tech Nova, why not be a subscriber. (The subscribe is on the left side of the page by the way)

Facebook

Surprising, we get a lot of traffic from our Facebook page (Like us on Facebook here!). We post our stories on our Facebook page as well as manage photos from events there. But one great thing about Facebook is its advertising feature. With Facebook advertising, it’s easy to promote our Facebook Page, our website and Instagram page to users. We run campaigns once in a while to boost some our stories featured on our site.

If you have a Facebook Page for your business/website, we recommend giving Facebook advertising a try: Facebook Ads

Instagram

Tech Nova is also on Instagram. With Instagram, we promote our stories as well as post pictures from events that we attend. Thanks to Instagram Stories, we can display live pictures from an event as it’s happening. Instagram now allows for multiple pictures in a post so it’s cool to post different pictures from an event.

So that’s just a few of the tools we use at Tech Nova. We’re always looking for different tools to use to expose the site to a large audience.

If you have any suggestions or tips you want to share, you can do that in the comment section.
