Earth Day: Google Updates Google Earth Just In Time For Earth Day

Today is Earth Day. Earth Day is an annual event celebrated on April 22. Worldwide, various events are held to demonstrate support for environmental protection.

Google announced a couple of days ago that they had updated their Google Earth platform.

I decided took a spin yesterday and I was blown away! You can view buildings in 3D and view valleys as if you’re in a plane flying above the ground.

Now In Ghana, we might have the fancy 3D builds like major cities in the US or Europe but the images from Google Earth are nevertheless, stunning, cool and kind of creepy?

Satellite technology has advanced so far, it’s amazing what they do. But if you’re conspiracy theorists who believe that this is how governments could spy on you, then you’re better live in constant fear.
