Electronic Arts (EA) is officially dropping the FIFA branding for their football franchise starting with next year’s release (2023). EA will officially rebrand the franchise to EA Sports FC.

EA started the game wouldn’t undergo much change and will still have most of its features including Ultimate Team, Career Mode, Pro Clubs and VOLTA Football.

The game will still include over 19,000+ players, 700+ teams, 100+ stadiums and 30 leagues including the Premier League, LA Liga and Bundesliga in the new game.

The company stated it will share more information about the new EA Sports FC game in the coming months.

EA had been reviewing its naming rights with FIFA in the previous months so its no surprise that they have decided to ditch the name for their next release.
