ESports Association Ghana Joins International Esports Federation

Ghana has been added to a member of the International Esports Federation (IESF). With the addition, the IESF has now to 109 nations with the addition of ESports Association Ghana.

ESports Association Ghana, previously known as Esports Ghana, was created in 2016 to encourage amateur and professional electronic sports (eSports) in Ghana.

The International Esports Federation (IESF) is a global organisation based in South Korea whose mission is to have electronic sports recognized as a legitimate sport.

There are now 13 countries from Africa affiliated with the IESF with the others being the Democratic Republic of Congo, Djibouti, Egypt, Libya, Mauritania, Mauritius, Morocco, Namibia, Nigeria, Senegal, South Africa, and Tunisia.
