Event: Finding Life On Mars With NASA At The Ghana Planetarium Center

On Monday 26th June, the Ghana Planetarium will be hosting a talk by a representative from the National Aeronautic Space Agency (NASA).

The talk will be about the robotic exploration of Mars and the possibility of finding life on the Red Planet. The talk will be given by Dr Luther Beegle, Principal Investigator for the SHERLOC project on the Mars 2020 rover.

Dr Beegle has also worked on the Curiosity rover, which is currently exploring Mars.

Event Details

The date for the event is on Monday, 26th June 2017. Arrival of participants starts at 5:30pm and the official presentation starts at 6:00pm. The theme for the talk is “Finding Life On Mars“.

Entry to the event is limited to 80 people so if you want to get a ticket, you have to be at the venue by 5:30 to get your tickets before they run out. Also, once the presentation starts, latecomers will not be allowed in. (So no Ghana man time!)

The venue for the event is the Planetarium Science Centre, Accra (Directions/Google Maps). Adults get into the event for 10 GHC and students and children get in for 5 GHC.
