Yesterday, Tech Nova was invited for a soft launch of the Ghana Innovation Hub at the Accra Digital Center. The Hub will officially open to the public on 1st October 2018.

The Ghana Innovation Hub has been set up under the eTransform program of the Ministry of Communications and is expected to contribute to innovation and digitization of Ghana’s economy. The four pillars of the hub are physical space, business development support, investment matchmaking and ecosystem support.

During the soft launch event, there were introductions of the operational team, the advisory board and the consortium members. Furthermore, the service offer and governance structure of the hub was presented and it was stressed that the hub is actively looking for strategic partnerships.

The Hub will, next to offering a physical space, support businesses in the ideation, incubation and acceleration stages. Stakeholders were invited to contribute their thoughts on innovation in Ghana and how the hub can support growing businesses.

Before the end of the year, the formal launch, as well as the hub’s incubation and acceleration programs, will be advertised on the website www.ghanainnovationhub.com.

Interested partners and investors can reach out to discuss ways of collaboration with the hub. Entrepreneurs can make use of our co-working space, private offices, meeting rooms and board room as of October 1st.
