According to a report by Business Insider, Fitbit and Google are developing a wearable for kids.

The project has been code-named “Project Eleven“, a reference to the character in the Netflix TV show Stranger Things. The device is being designed to “help older kids form healthy relationships with their phones and social media.”

The device would be equipped with safety features for parents, including cellular and GPS connectivity to allow them to contact and locate their kids without the need for a phone.

The device is currently being tested with and without a screen

The wearable is scheduled to launch in 2024, but it hasn’t been confirmed yet.
