Former AirtelTigo CEO Mitwa Kaemba Ng’ambi Has Been Named As CEO of MTN Rwanda

Mitwa Kaemba Ng’ambi has been appointed as CEO of MTN Rwanda.

The former CEO of AirtelTigo recently resigned from her role as CEO of AirtelTigo Ghana just last Friday.

The MTN Group described Mitwa Kaemba Ng’ambi as a seasoned leader with a strong background in commercial and technology and also someone with the unique experience of leading mergers and acquisitions in the telecom industry.

Ng’ambi, is a seasoned leader with a career spanning more than 10 years in telecoms and returns to MTN where she previously held the role of Chief Marketing Officer at MTN Benin and several other roles at MTN Zambia. She has a strong background in commercial and technology with a track record of driving business strategy for growth, as well as developing high-performing teams. She also has the unique experience of leading mergers and acquisitions in the telecom industry,” the group stated.

Mitwa Kaemba Ng’ambi is the second CEO to resign from AirtelTigo in less than 3 years following the resignation of Roshi Motman after both Airtel and Tigo officially merged into one entity.
