Update: The family of Nick Imudia is disputing reports that the former CEO of Konga committed suicide.

The family of Nick Imudia is unhappy with the unprofessional manner the media has wrongly characterized the reporting of Nick Imudia’s death as suicide,” the family said.

“Neither did Nick call his brother in America with instructions on how to distribute his wealth, nor placed a call to his daughter with any instructions.

The family said Imudia, until his death was the group CEO of D.light International with headquarters in Nairobi, Kenya, where he was residing.

The former Chief Executive Officer of Konga, one of Nigeria’s e-commerce platforms, Nick Imudia, has allegedly passed away after committing suicide at his apartment.

Details

According to reports, Mr Imudia committed suicide after jumping from the balcony of his Lagos apartment.

Nick Imudia was the CEO of D.light, a leading innovator in the distribution and financing of residential solar energy solutions and transformational household products.

According to reports, he had communicated with his brother in the UK to distribute his wealth if anything were to happen to him.

Nick Imudia was 59 years old.
