Ghana Tech Lab Partners With ABSA Bank To Launch StartupBAS

Ghana Tech Lab recently announced the official launch of the StartupBAS (Business Advisory Support) website. StartupBAS in collaboration with Absa Bank is an initiative under Ghana Tech Lab which is taking strides to ease the burden of startups in accessing business development support. StartupBAS will provide free consultation for all startups across the country through thirteen (13) partner hubs.

The launch of the official website of StartupBAS which took place on Friday, 13th November, at the premises of Ghana Tech Lab in Accra hosted representatives from Absa Bank who were excited about the collaboration.

Speaking at the launch, Mrs. Audrey Abakah – Head, SME banking – Absa Group said, Absa has focused on financing SMEs for the past 3 to 4 years supporting them not only financially because Absa realize that SMEs do not just need financing to grow but also key is business Advisory support and Absa is happy to work in collaboration with Ghana Tech Lab to support businesses that have a future.

As business development services are relatively expensive for the average startup, StartupBAS is here to bridge this gap to ensure sustainability and stability of all Ghanaian startups.
