Leti Arts’ selection marks a historic moment for African game development and the global push for climate action through gaming.
Driving the news
Leti Arts’ mobile game SWEAVE is now officially part of PlanetPlay’s Green Games Activation, making it the first African-made title to directly fund verified tree planting through gameplay.
How it works:
- Every SWEAVE download and in-game interaction starting June 7 contributes to tree planting under Kenya’s Hongera Project.
- The initiative aims to plant 50,000 trees by June 30, supporting biodiversity and rural communities.
- Players can download SWEAVE on Google Play and the App Store.

Zoom in
Leti Arts is launching a month-long #LetiGoesGreen campaign featuring:
- A SWEAVE update linking gameplay to real-world tree planting
- Partnerships with PlanetPlay and WithOneSeed in Kenya
- Media activations, influencer takeovers, and social campaigns across Africa
