Google Opens Applications For Its Virtual Accelerator Program for 2022

Google has officially announced that it is now accepting applications from African startups for its upcoming three-month virtual accelerator program.

Google will select 17 African startups from its pool of applications. Those startups selected will attend the African edition of Google’s virtual accelerator program in 2022.

Google for Startups Accelerator Africa is accepting applications from startups located in Algeria, Botswana, Cameroon, Côte D’ivoire, Egypt, Ethiopia, Ghana, Kenya, Morocco, Nigeria, Rwanda, Senegal, South Africa, Tanzania, Tunisia, Uganda, and Zimbabwe.

The accelerator program will run for 3 months and will begin in March and end in May 2022.

Benefits Of The Accelerator Program

Selected startups will be entitled to three months of free equity. They will also get access to Google’s networks, mentoring from industry experts, training, early access to Google tools, partnership on an advanced technology project, and more.

Applications for the 7th edition of the Google for Startups Accelerator Africa Program are now opened for eligible startups from now till the 14th of January 2022.
