Here’s a comprehensive guide on how to activate your eSIM with MTN Ghana.
Step 1: Check Device Compatibility
Before you begin, ensure that your device is eSIM compatible. You can do this by dialing *#06# on your device. If an EID number is displayed, your device supports eSIM.
Step 2: Install the MyMTN App
Download and install the MyMTN app from your device’s app store. This application will facilitate the eSIM activation process.
Step 3: Request eSIM Activation
Open the MyMTN app and navigate to the eSIM request portal within the app. Enter your phone number to receive a One-Time Password (OTP) for verification.
Step 4: Verification
Once you receive the OTP via SMS, enter it into the provided space in the app to verify your device.
Step 5: Complete the KYC Form
Fill out the Know Your Customer (KYC) form with all the required information. This step is crucial for identity verification and security purposes.
Step 6: Scan the QR Code
Upon completing the KYC form, a QR code will be displayed. Scan this code with your device to install the eSIM profile.
