Nigerian mobility tech startup Metro Africa Xpress Inc (MAX) looks like they are gearing up for a launch in Ghana soon.
According to the company’s LinkedIn page, they have several job positions in Ghana for prospective employees including a Verification officer, a Growth Expansion Lead, and more.
The company had originally planned to enter Ghana in the first quarter of 2022 after raising $31 million in a Series B funding round.
The company started out as a delivery startup using motorcycles to fulfil customer orders before eventually venturing into ride-hailing, and now are currently into vehicle subscription and financing services.
We’ll wait and see what the official word from MAX and publish a follow up if and when the company announces its official launch in Ghana.
