Uber had recently announced a new initiative for aiding deliveries for Uber users called “Uber Connect”. With the new feature, users could request a ride for package to be picked up and delivery to a location.
However, the feature was said to be available in select cities. But on the Uber app in Accra, the “Connect” feature is available.
Similar to ride trips, you will be able to monitor the delivery of a package through the Uber app. You can also share the delivery status with the recipient of the package.
A user just has to select their pick up and delivery location and select and confirm the “Connect” option.
No confirmation on if the feature is actively working.
