Overview: This phone was made to share experiences and good times with family without coughing out too much money. With its moderate price tag coupled with near-premium specs, the Itel 23+ makes an argument for the best mid-range phone on the Ghanaian market.
Visually Colorful Design and Display
The Itel S23+ screen has a 400,000:1 contrast ratio which brings out the True-to-Life visuals and vibrant color display with a dynamic bar. This is an exponentially improved feature from their S23 released in June earlier this year.
The device has a 6.78″ FHD+ AMOLED curved screen which is made with Corning Gorilla Glass 5.
The 1080 x 2400 resolution hasn’t been much of an improvement but the In-display fingerprint and design is a great add-on to the device.
Focus Tracking Camera
The enhanced camera of the new Itel S23+ captures detailed pictures, especially with the AI trackable motion feature with a 32 MP selfie lens.
The 50MP Portrait back camera can help content creators capture outdoor events with more detail with camera features which include AI and HDR. The max zoom capture of the 50MP camera goes up to 10x.
Light Speed Processor
With an improved ROM of 128 GB to 256 GB from the S23 to the S23+, the device has a light-speed processor and maintains 16 GB of RAM just like the S23.
AI Integration
The Al Assistant called “Aivana GPT” on the device can help to note down articles, and reports. It also has a mood board and you can access quick information with voice commands.
The Tracking focus with AI also ensures a stable camera when taking pictures with the selfie portrait.
Battery Power
The S23+ features an 18W Fast Charging capability and a 5000mAh battery. With its battery, users can stay connected and powered up for longer periods without interruptions. You can charge your battery up to 70% in less than 20 mins.
Customer Support
The warranty on the S23+ device is set for 36 months and also has a 6-month free screen replacement.
Cost
The S23+ phone costs GHC 1,794.50 (~$150.00) and is arguably Ghana’s cheapest premium phone on the market at the moment.
