“The Job”, A Business Reality TV Show Sponsored By Dalex Finance Officially Launches

Dalex Finance in partnership with Xponent is launching a job hunting reality TV show called “The Job“.

The show will feature university graduates, who will have opportunity to finding a job through the competitive environment of a Reality TV Show. The show which will air on GH One.

The Job” will also seek to empower students in selected universities so they can get the best possible jobs after school.

CEO of Dalex Finance and Leasing Company, Ken Thompson, said he hopes that the show will elicit originality, skill, and innovation through clever, challenging and fun-filled engagement that would enhance creativity and help bring out the best of talents from the contestants from the various universities in the country.

Show Format

“The Job” will have a panel of judges who will scrutinize the business skills of contesting job seekers. It will feature twelve university students who will compete for a job position over 13 week-long episodes of the show. Each week, one contestant will be eliminated.

“The Job” is currently open only to students of the six public universities  University of Ghana, Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST), University of Professional Studies (Accra), Cape Coast University, the University of Education and University of Development Studies.

The show will start with career counseling and world-class aptitude testing. After that, contestants will be groomed for the job market and equipped with essential business and leadership skills.

At the end of the show’s season, the final contestant selected gets to walk away with prized internships in one of the best companies in Ghana or abroad.
