Mugambi joined Kobo360 in 2021 from the International Finance Corporation (IFC) as Chief Operating Officer (COO) and was named CEO after co-founder Obi Ozor’s exit in August 2023.
Between The Lines
Kobo360 launched in 2017 and raised $30 million in a 2019 Series A funding round, including investors like TLCom, Y Combinator, and IFC.
The company has since struggled to raise additional funds partly because of the COVID-19 pandemic.
