Kudigo Wins At The 2019 MOBEX Africa Innovation Awards

KudiGo Inc, a Ghanaian fintech and big data startup innovating around informal retail, won an award at the just-ended Mobex Africa Innovations Awards (MIA), held at the Kempinski Gold Coast City Hotel, Accra.

The 2019 edition of the Mobex Africa saw over 30 ICT companies vying for various recognitions in categories such as Enterprise, Consumer and Social Good, Fintech, as well as Governance and Special Awards.

KudiGo emerged as the winner in the Enterprise category, making them the MIA Technology Innovation of the Year for Retail and Commerce.

Reacting to the award, the Chief Enabler of KudiGo, Mr. Kingsley Abrokwah said, “We have always believed that the vision and drive behind KudiGo went beyond our individual efforts as a startup. Our users, the average African retailers are the real masters and innovators behind this solution, and we dedicate this recognition to them; thank you for becoming ‘The New Smart’ with KudiGo.”

He also dedicated the award to the KudiGo team whose relentless efforts are constantly driving the company into achieving its set mission, which is to leverage on smart technology to create value for the retail space in Africa.
