Lemonade Finance, a remittance startup, has announced their new brand partnership with Efia Odo, one of Ghana’s top actresses and influencers. Efia is the newest brand partner for Lemonade Finance, joining their Canada-based partner, Babatunde “Tunde Tash” Omotoye. Lemonande Finance is confident that Efia will use her reach, goodwill and positive image to help us drive brand awareness across social media platforms.

Efia hails from Juaben, in the Ashanti region of Ghana and has featured in movies such as “heels and sneakers;” she was also a radio host and T.V presenter on Okay FM and Kwese TV respectively.

I appreciate the opportunity to work with a young and refreshing brand like Lemonade Finance,” Efia said. “I have lived abroad and I know first-hand how difficult it can be for immigrants to navigate the financial system in new countries. Lemonade is solving that problem for immigrants, and anyone who knows me knows I’m all about changing systems that make life difficult for everyone. I look forward to a fulfilling partnership with Lemonade.”

Lemonade Finance’s partnership with Efia Odo is timely, given that they expanded to the United Kingdom in December 2021. In February, they also opened the Lemonade app to Ghanaians in Canada. These expansions mean that Ghanaians in the U.K and Canada have access to the full suite of financial services that Lemonade offers.

According to Loretta Adamu, a Senior influencer manager at Lemonade Finance, “This partnership feels natural because Efia Odo is loved by Ghanaians at home and abroad. This is a partnership with a phenomenal woman who values community and has strong connections to the diaspora community and the people back home.”
