According to a report by the World Energy, Mauritius leads the African region according to the latest index ratings.
Mauritius is ranked 43rd globally but first in Africa. The country scored 47.3, 78.6, and 71.3 in the areas of Energy Security, Energy Equity, and Environment Sustainability according to the Trilemma Framework.
The framework is recognised as a tool to navigate and accelerate energy transitions across the world.
