NkomorCare Technologies, a healthcare and financial technology startup operating out of Accra, Ghana has finally launched the Nkomor mobile app after months of teasing the app release.
The Nkomor app enables patients and users to request a doctor or in-person appointment at any of the 100+ healthcare providers on the platform, order a test kit, or request a Physician Callback Service to speak to a Nkomor Verified Physician via a direct phone call for just GHS50.
Nkomor also enables patients to cater to Out-of-Pocket (OOP) expenses through its in-app payment solution, NkomorPay. Launching soon, NkomorPay will enable patients and users to pay, receive, request, and save towards healthcare expenses through the Nkomor app.
With the African Healthcare Market projected to top $250B by 2030, Nkomor is targeting the Out-of-Pocket healthcare expenses market valued north of $60B, starting in Ghana with a youth population of 10M+, and over 70% having access to a smartphone and internet.
