OLX Shuts Down Its Operations In Ghana?

By Joseph-Albert Kuuire 1 Min Read

It looks like the e-commerce platform, OLX, is shutting down its operations in Ghana. OLX is also shutting down in Nigeria and Kenya as well.

OLX is a global classifieds platform which currently has operations in 40 countries around the world.

According to Business Insider Subsharan South Africa, the staff in Nigeria and Kenya were formally informed of the decision on Tuesday with a notice of termination to staff beginning in March, followed by the management team in April.

OLX will now fully focus its operations in South Africa going forward.

That means that Tonaton will seemingly be the leading e-commerce platform operating in Ghana.
