Guest Opinion/Submission provides an argument defined and substantiated with some evidence or fact or give readers a perspective on certain issues or stories.

These submissions should provide Tech Labari readers with a wide range of arguments and ideas available.

Type of submissions we expect but are not limited to:

  • Expert Sharing of knowledge: Where experts can present findings, highlight problems, and propose solutions to the public and to one another. We seek out articles from experts in which they make an original, robust argument based on their deep expertise. Economists, lawyers, doctors, and many others may have expertise on a given (tech) topic that can advance an important argument.

      Guidelines

What are the guidelines for opinion and guest submissions?

      • Submissions should be limited between 600 words and 1000 words.

They must include the writer’s full name — anonymous op-eds or op-eds written under pseudonyms will not be considered.

      • Are submissions edited?

Tech Labari will not alter a writer’s opinions or “voice,” but all submissions will be edited for clarity. They are also fact checked and copy edited for grammar and style.

We ask contributors to sign off on all changes before we publish a final version on our website.
