Paystack has released an interactive report about some of its achievements in 2023. Including in its report are milestones, data on popular payment methods across its four markets.

By The Numbers

In the report, Paystack listed out its single biggest transactions made through its Payment Checkout:

Nigeria – NGN 261,196,809


South Africa – ZAR 343,000


    Kenya – KSH 226,800


      Ghana – GHS 120,000


          Here are the most popular payment channels (by transaction count) selected by buyers when presented with the Paystack Checkout.

          • Nigeria – Bank Transfer (58%), Card (36%), Internet Banking (4%), Other (2%)
          • Ghana – Mobile Money (98%), Card (1.9%), Apple Pay (0.1%)
          • South Africa – Card (93%), EFT (4%), QR (3%), Other (0.1%)
          • Kenya – Mobile Money (70%), Card (20%), Apple (1%)
