SFAN Assembles Bright Minds For Global Student Entrepreneurship Week 2021

Stars From All Nations and its partners LoveWorld Next and Loveworld Business Network will host over 20 thought leaders and bright thinkers worldwide for Global Student Entrepreneurship Week scheduled for October 28-30, 2021.

This year’s hybrid Student Entrepreneurship Week participants will benefit from a range of insightful high-level keynote sessions, thought leadership panel sessions, masterclasses, and entertainment mentoring sessions presented by the best and brightest entrepreneurs and professionals from around the world.

The experiential growth-focused event will kick off on Thursday, October 28, serving guests with a high-level keynote speech entitled We Are the Ones We’ve Been Waiting for. The speaker is Mr. Daysman Oyakhilome, President of Carel Studios and Patron, Africa Youth Parliament. The underlying principle behind this topic is that at the crux of the economic tension and social inequalities that many people experience today is an opportunity for change-making. This session challenges GSEW21 guests to make the world better than they met it.

That session will be followed by a moderated keynote on The Next Frontier of Innovation & Leadership featuring Tony Elumelu Foundation CEO Ms. Ifeyinwa Ugochukwu, Prof. Ndubuisi Ekekwe, Lead, Faculty of Tekedia Institue, and others.

Other topics for day 1 of Global Student Entrepreneurship Week 2021 include the following: Decent Jobs for the Youth – Fixing youth unemployment in Africa, Africa, and the World: Making AfCFTA work for the youth through Platform Ownership, Policy with a Purpose, and Equitable Funding, Digital Skills and the Future of Work: How Technological Innovation is Transforming the Workforce, The future of Governance and Civil leadership, The Intersection of Entrepreneurship and Spirituality. 

The following are the esteemed thought leaders for those sessions: His Excellency Uebert Angel, Ambassador At Large Zimbabwe to Europe & Americas; Mr. Gituku Ngene, Africa Regional Lead, Youth Employment and Innovation, Mercy Corps; Mr. Prince Adu-Appiah, Founder and CEO of 1Billion Africa; Ms. Coco Liu, CXO, Talent City; Ms. Maya Demeke, International Business Professional; Mr. Mike Dola, President, Cokodeal; Mr. Joseph-Albert Kuuire, Creator and Editor, Tech Nova GH; Ms. Lalia Bouallouch, Policy Officer Youth Employment, Ministerie van Buitenlandse Zaken; Mr. Jovin Hurry, Director, Solved.


Day 2

Day 2 of Global Student Entrepreneurship Week 2021 will welcome Branson Centre for Entrepreneurship Mentor and Tony Robbins Trainer Gina Kloes to lead guests on a journey to unleash their greatness through her transformative Game Changer Moment training session.

Subsequently, the event will explore other topics such as dating and digital privacy.


Day 3

Day 3 will climax the EPIC event with an opening keynote on Reconnecting the African Diaspora. That session underscores the fact that the African diaspora is the lifeblood of Africa’s economy, and they provide more resources than minerals in many economies. 

On the heels of the welcome keynote will be a thought leadership panel on fundraising entitled Show Me the Money. And then, there’ll be a youth-led, multi-stakeholder dialogue session with education authorities, the private sector, policymakers, and the media on the role of education, the government, the private sector, and the media on creating an enabling youth entrepreneurship ecosystem.

Other panels for day 3 of Global Student Entrepreneurship Week 2021 will explore the subjects Fixing Pharmaceutical Manufacturing in Africa and Drug Trafficking as a Development Challenge.

The following are the esteemed thought leaders for the above sessions: Mr. Romeo Effs, CEO, Lumorus Plc; Ms. Lise Birikundavyi, Principal/Fund Manager, Black Innovation Capital; Ms. Comfort Aruosa-Osemwegie, Founder and CEO, DealRoom Nigeria; Mr. Maxime Bayen, Senior Venture Builder, BFA Global.

After the Student Entrepreneur of the Year award, Loveworld Business Network will host the Next Big Thing Business Pitch (application ends on October 15) to seek out pioneering startups for a $20,000 investment.

That session will bring the brilliant event to a close.
