Starlink Internet Services Officially Available In Malawi

Starlink, the space internet service from SpaceX, is now officially available in Malawi. Users in Malawi can now sign up and access Starlink’s internet service in the country.

Last year, the Malawi Communications Regulatory Authority (MACRA) announced that Starlink has been licensed to provide internet services in the country.

Starlink, in a tweet today, announced that the internet service is now fully operational.

The Bigger Picture

Starlink is now officially available in four African countries including Nigeria, Kenya, Rwanda, and now Malawi.

Starlink is currently obtaining a license in Ghana for the service to go live in Q4 2024.
