GIG Mobility (GIGM), a technologically powered transport platform is set to enter Ghana’s intercity transportation sector. The company is set to open its flagship terminals in Accra and Kumasi.
The Chief Operating Officer of GIGM, Ms. Vuakpor Muoghereh, said the expansion into Ghana was in line with the company’s agenda to provide great customer experience for commuters across Africa.
“With over 20 years in service to travelers, we have consistently reinvented the wheel by focusing on exceptional customer experience, leveraging technology to build innovative solutions,” she said.
“From our professional captains (drivers) we have carefully screened and gone through continuous professional development, to our fleet, which is by all standards the best in the industry and then to our safety procedures which are meticulously followed through.”
The company will be introducing its mobile app for ticket booking, vehicle hire and pick up service.
“This introduces a more convenient way to travel as opposed to the conventional wait and fill model for interstate travel. Booking tickets on the GIGM app is easy and can be done in less than five minutes from the comfort zone of the user,” she said.
