Twitter Is Building A “Google Alerts” Feature For Tweets

According to some news alerts like TheVerge, Twitter is working on a new feature called “Search Subscribe”. The feature will allow users to receive notifications for new tweets matching their search terms.

This is similar to receiving “Google Alerts” in your email for specific queries.

This feature could be helpful for brands anc companies to know what’s happening to their services and products on social media or track ad campaigns.

The new feature is currently being tested in an Alpha version of Twitter and there’s no indication of when the feature will be released to all users.
