Uber Ghana Rewards Top Drivers With New Vehicles And Prizes

Uber Ghana held an award ceremony where they rewarded its top drivers with prizes at its new office at Kanda in Accra. The award ceremony was part of Uber’s Gye Wo Two competition.

The award ceremony was presided by Jessica Poku, Country Manager of Uber in Ghana.

At the event, two top Uber drivers who had maintained a high driver rating were rewarded with two brand new cars as prizes for their high standards and dedication.

Joseph Mantey won a brand new Suzuki Dzire Glx as the overall top driver, and Winsome Tetteh Teye-Anim won a brand new Suzuki Alto for coming in second place in the competition.

Other top drivers were also rewarded with a brand new television set and a smartphone handset.

Also present at the event were some of Uber Ghana’s partners including CFAO who helped with the presentation of one vehicle to one of the Uber drivers; Vodafone Ghana which partnered with Uber to provide a zero rating for Uber drivers and Riders and Flutterwave which powers the Uber Cash feature where riders can top up their Uber wallets with mobile money.
