International tech company Yango Group has launched a new automotive business, Yango Motors, marking its debut in Côte d’Ivoire.
Details:
- Yango Motors will act as the official distributor for Chinese car brands Bestune and Kaiyi.
- The company says it will offer models adapted to local realities, combining competitive pricing with financing options via local banks and leasing firms.
- Customers will also get after-sales support and spare parts availability, a key concern in West Africa’s auto market.

- The launch comes shortly after Yango Ventures — Yango’s investment arm — backed Kenyan mobility startup BuuPass in July.
- “By offering cars that are adapted, reliable, and affordable, we aim to support Ivorians in their daily journeys and contribute to the growth of the local mobility ecosystem,” said Kadotien Alassane Soro, Country Head at Yango Côte d’Ivoire.
