Ghana Bank Customers wanted better customer experiences from their local banks

PwC has released its 2024 Consumer Survey Report on Ghanaian banks with details on consumer sentiments on Ghanaian banks.

In its report, the majority of banking customers (64%) expressed wanting shorter wait times at banks for a better customer experience.

Other takeaways include:

  • 60% of surveyed customers aim to spend ten minutes or less in a branch for transactions.
  • Customers expect more well-informed staff to provide better guidance, faster issue resolution, and provide clarity at bank branches.
  • Customers expect to have more freedom to access their banks anytime without having to jump through multiple hoops.
  • WhatsApp stands out as customers’ preferred interaction platform with banks
