Facebook has “Facebook Pay”, a payment platform for its users which provides a payment experience across Facebook, Messenger, Instagram, and WhatsApp.
With Facebook Pay, users can add their credit card information to apps like Instagram and Whatsapp and make payments for items or send money to friends.
Facebook Pay supports most major credit and debit cards as well as PayPal. Payments are processed in partnership with companies like PayPal, Stripe and others around the world.
The payment platform is currently launching in the US with Facebook stating that it will roll out the feature to more users over time.
