Mark Zuckerberg, CEO of Meta, announced via his Instagram Channel that the Central Bank of Brazil has authorized the launch of WhatsApp payment feature.
The feature will allow users and small businesses on WhatsApp to receive payment on WhatsApp.
With WhatsApp Payments, money is transferred securely between bank accounts in Brazil. The payments feature on WhatsApp is enabled by Meta Pay,
Mark Zuckerberg stated that Meta expects to roll out the feature soon.
