At the just-ended 2024 Summer Olympics in Paris, African countries all together got a total of 39 medals across competitions.

Kenya led all countries with a total of 11 medals including 4 Gold Medals, 2 Silver, and 5 Bronze medals. South Africa followed up with 6 medals including 1 Gold Medal, 3 Silver, and 2 Bronze medals.

12 African countries in total each received at least one medal at the games. Those countries include:

  • Kenya
  • South Africa
  • Ethiopia
  • Algeria
  • Egypt
  • Tunisia
  • Botswana
  • Morocco
  • Uganda
  • Cabo Verde
  • Cote D’Ivoire
  • Zambia
