Ghana’s Vice President Dr Mahamudu Bawumia recently launched a Government mobile app called “CitizenApp” which is designed to help users digitally interact with government entities.

The CitizenApp is designed to serve as a one-stop platform, allowing citizens to access various government services, report issues, and receive real-time updates on public matters.
The app accesses services including Ghana’s Electricity Company of Ghana and Ghana Water Company for bill payments.
Other services include access to Social Security (SSNIT), Taxes, and other select government services.
Digging Deeper
The app is available for all citizens and residents of Ghana and connects users to official public notices, job openings from both public and private organizations, and all services from the government.
It also provides access to information linked to the Ghana Card.
The app is currently available on the iOS and Google Playstore.
