Seven years ago, Tech Labari (formerly Tech Nova) was officially launched. Our mission was to publish and report on tech stories in the Ghanaian and later the African tech ecosystem.
Our platform has undergone several iterations and changes over the last seven years. We’ve gone from covering gadgets to examining different African tech ecosystems.
Currently, we’re laser-focused on a couple of things:
Our News and Features
We’ve been focusing more on publishing news stories not just in Ghana but in Nigeria, Kenya, Rwanda, and South Africa. Our main focus remains on news and features that highlights the African tech ecosystem.
Podcasts
We officially launched our first podcast show “What’s Your Story” in 2022. On the show, we talk to entrepreneurs and founders about their past lives and how they built their companies and careers. We’re kicking off our 3rd Season 3 this month.
We launched our second show “The Labari Media Podcast” in 2023 to have more conversations with entrepreneurs, founders, and other individuals to discuss various topics including crypto, customer service, investment, and media.
Data Points
We launched our Data Insights/Data Points section to leverage more data-telling stories on Ghana and Africa. This section features data visualizations in different sectors including tech funding, entertainment, sports, and other areas in Africa.
Newsletters
Our newsletters are still going strong as we publish our weekly newsletters to summarise all the week’s news for our subscribers.
